This six month or nine month course is specifically for overseas students who plan to attend Italian universities. The carefully crafted language and culture syllabus equips students for a fulfilling and happy stay at the university of their choice.  The course prepares students for the internationally recognized Certification of Italian L2 (Level B1/B2), released by the University of Roma Tre and Università per Stranieri di Siena.

Lessons are in the mornings and take place in The School. The course is structured on a modular basis allowing students to achieve a logical and coherent progress in both comprehension and fluency.  All books and teaching materials are provided.  We can also provide workshops & seminars on the vocational entrance examinations for the universities.  Towards the end of the course provision is made for those students who may need technical or scientific Italian as a requirement for their university syllabus or extra tuition for Conservatorio Musicale or Accademia di Belle Arti.

During the afternoons students can take part in a wide range of activities and there are also guided cultural visits to places of interest in the local area.  There is an exciting programme of social activities in the evenings as well.

Le Antiche Torri  provides constant pastoral care and we have both linguistic and cultural advisors - who speak English – who can help students with any practical or personal problems that may arise.  Sarnano is a warm and welcoming town, and past students have had enormous fun living here and becoming part of real Italian society.
